On a Whim

I've always loved doing things on a whim. Some of the most fun experiences I've ever had were something that just kind of happened. Back home these things included Chinese fire drills in the middle of the night, swimming at the beach in the middle of the night, playing sardines in the church parking lot in the middle of the night, adding bubble bath to the hot tub in the middle of the night, making a music video in the middle of the night, skinny dipping in the middle of the night (getting the idea?)...
Recently I've been able to talk Marie into doing some of these things. Well, none of those things, but simple things, like playing on a tire swing at 10 pm, or making chocolate covered strawberries with me at midnight. Is there anything better than being spontaneous? Just like, getting an idea and rolling with it. Maybe in a year or two when all the boys are back from their missions we can all go back to Oxnard and just roll with it... unless they're still in mission mode, in which case it will just be the girls.
