Two Weeks to Eternity

Today during staff meeting Danielle announced that she had good news. Or news in general, really. She announced that her 19 year old freshman sister just got engaged. To a guy that she's known, not just dated, for two weeks. And they're getting married at the end of April. Now, maybe it's just me, but this isn't a life altering decision. This is an eternal decision. It's her first year at college, she's 19, and she thinks that after two weeks she's ready to marry a man for time and all eternity? I don't know if I could make that decision after a few months and know that I'm completely sane at the time instead of just swept away. I thought that this was only the kind of story you just heard about, but never actually happened. I guess I was wrong.
