Reminders

Opening the Cannon Center at 6 in the morning, listening to Yael Naim's song "New Soul"... it reminds me of the summer. Having to open the CANC, it being the only time of day when it was semi cool out, it'd be light out by 6, the smell of CANC breakfast in the air, an hour of doing nothing until all the EFY/Sports Camp kids showed up needing their meal ticket numbers... it was a good time. The smell of my mezz suite... that I had all to myself. Creeping into Hayley's room in the middle of the night and popping Billy's head out from the corner to scare her. Playing pool in the Taylor lobby.
It just seems so long ago. It wasn't even a year ago, but I feel different, ya know? But hey, it could just be the weather.
