At the beginning of fall semester, everyone seemed to walk to church. Now that it's cold and rainy/snowy, it appears that only ST. 17 makes the 20 minute walk. Back in the fall when it was nice and warm out, we'd often get stopped for a ride home. It seemed awkward, not knowing them, and it was nice out, so for the most part we'd decline. However, now when we walk in the snow, or just the cold, no one stops to offer us a ride. This is baffling! It's hot out, so offer a ride. It's cold out, so just drive past the girls in the skirts shivering.
Anyways, my roommates and I have come to understand that if a boy does offer you a ride home, you can expect to get a phone call from him asking you on a date. Cases in point: Rebecca and Craig. Becky and Nate. Okay, so it's only happened twice, but this is the new key to landing a date in the Stadium Terrace apartment complex.
So today as we walked home from church singing "Too Legit to Quit", I started to dance. Soon after, we were offered a ride home. Next week I will dance again on our way home to see if there is a correlation here. Also, I will not be expecting a phone call this week for a date, as we were picked up by a female. Story of my life. One of these days...
Welcome, Minnie!!
