Person 2: Jillayne

I have never met a sweeter person than Jillayne. We worked together in the lovely summer of 2008. Jillayne is quiet, but not shy. She's thoughtful and caring. She is a lovely person. Whenever I had a problem over that summer, I would turn to Jillayne. She didn't always have an answer for me, but she listened intently, and made me feel important to her. I've never heard Jillayne say an unkind thing to anybody. When I see Jillayne now, I see the love of Christ shining from her. She is the purest example of Christ-like love that I have ever met.

Jillayne has taught me that every child of God is worth loving, and worth feeling of worth. Jillayne inspired me to be more loving and caring of others. She once told me that she really cared about "the One"- not the eternal companion, but the individual. She cared about every individual and how they were feeling. Jillayne made me feel like a better person, even though I never did anything that I thought warranted that. One day I aspire to be like Jillayne, and to sit by the lonely person in church, or to perform quiet acts of service to strangers. I am a better person because of her. I am softer and more caring. And I have someone to look up to.
