Tomorrow I'm wearing my pea coat to the airport, where I will board a plane with a suitcase full of swimsuits, tanning lotion and mindless books, and I will fly to Florida. And on Thursday I will board a boat and sail to Mexico.
I never thought of myself as the cruise type. I've always been afraid of natural disasters or murder happening aboard the ship. But I'm getting pretty excited to see white beaches instead of white precipitation on the ground.
