Y Hike

I've been so busy these last few weeks that I have yet to post about my first ever hike-the-Y experience/extravaganza.
One Saturday night during finals Hayley called and asked me if I'd like to go hike the Y with her and Boyd. Well, obviously! So at about 8:30 we started from the base. I heard some people say that it was really hard, and half of me believed them, while the other half of me called them whimps. I realized they may have been telling the truth when I started breathing really heavily only a couple minutes into it, before we even reached the first marker. After that I was quite light headed, and really thought that I was going to faint and fall down the mountain. However, we took frequent breaks and Boyd really took care of Hayley and I, making sure we drank enough and feeding us crackers and chocolate.
When we finally hit the top, it was so very worth it. We sat on the Y drinking hot chocolate and enjoying each other's company. Boyd and Hayley are honestly the two most special people in my life right now. I know that I should be saying that about my family members or such, but they mean so much to me. They really have become my family in the last year that I've known them. Those two have increased my testimony more than any other people ever have. There is nothing I enjoy more than being around them, especially in the temple. I love them dearly, and I look forward to "being stuck with them forever", as Boyd once said.
