Inspiring Examples

Sometimes I need a little extra help. Sometimes there are days that I honestly just want to sit down on the floor of my shower and sob. It's days like those when I think about a couple of amazing and inspiring people in my life, and the words that they have given me.
First off, there's Hayley, who has written so many kind and inspiring words that on hard days all I have to do is read them to feel that someone in this world loves me.
Then there's Boyd, who out of the blue sends text messages that say things like "I'm proud of you". Things like that make me feel like I am a worthwhile daughter of God.
And although there are several other people who inspire me everyday and help me feel my worth, the last person I'd like to mention is Becky. Yes, Bunnell it rhymes with funnel. Becky's family was kind enough to let me spend last Christmas with them. On my last night there, there were so many people that Becky and I got to spend the night on a pull out couch in the study. I woke up about the same time Becky did, probably because she rolled out of bed. But unlike me the first thing she did was not run to the bathroom, but she simply rolled out of the bed and onto her knees to pray. It was tender and lovely. I've never been a morning prayer person, but that made me want to be. When I consider how I could better myself these days, I think about Becky rolling out of bed. Something that I need to work on.
