New Year

David and Chelsey were over tonight. We watched this video, and it really got me thinking.



I've been trying to come up with some new goals for this upcoming year. This year's were:
1. Don't punch anyone in the face.
2. Don't fail any classes.
3. Don't kiss anyone just because you're desperate.

1. I slapped a few people in the face, but no punches.
2. My lowest grade was a D-, which for my major is passing.
3. I didn't even get a chance to kiss someone because I was desperate.

I've been thinking about some more serious goals for this year. I'd really like to stop saying "eff" all the time. Or, really, at all. That'll be a difficult one, but I think that it'll be worth it in the end. I'd like to go a year without biting my nails. But I think that what I really need to do is this:

"Trust in God. Trust in Heavenly Father and just whenever He tells you to do something, don't look back, just do it."

And when I listen to this in the video, I think I know what I'm supposed to leave behind.
