On Friday, Boyd took Hayley on a date to the pumpkin patch. I don't really know what happened, but somehow I ended up tagging along.
The outing started with the sighting of the big red barn- our destination. And of course, every time I saw it I had to scream out, "THE BIG RED BARN! I SEE IT!". It was great.

From the big red barn we took a hay ride (minus the hay) for about a mile until we reached a pumpkin patch. When we reached the pumpkin patch we ran for the ghost pictures, as we knew that with a ton of kids on our haul there'd be a line for pictures.

Then we went on our pumpkin hunt. We found some good ones!

The patch was wild and unruly. Some pumpkins were still attached to the vine. Others had spiders on them. Some were rotten. And there were some really tall weeds. But it was fun!

Then on the way back to the big red barn, we got to go on a hay ride with REAL hay! It was exciting!

In the end, with the hay rides and my two pumpkins, I only spent $3.50. It was the best date ever! Thanks, Mom and Dad! :)
