Dad's Wedding

Well, my dad is now a married man... again. I introduce to you, fair readers, Ray and Peggy Callahan.
Peggy is very nice. I enjoyed getting to know her, and I don't think that my dad could have done any better. At this point during the ceremony, which was held in their friend's backyard, Peggy started to tear up, and then I noticed that her daughter Carey was as well.
This is the wedding party. From left to right you have Carey, Dawn, Jeffrey, and Jessica Martin. Then Peggy and my dad. Behind them and hidden from view (thankfully) is Joseph, Jessica's boyfriend. He performed the ceremony as he got ordained online. Then there's Scott, my dad's best friend growing up, and Jason, me, and Jacob.

This is the Callahan Clan. Left to right: Papa, Grammie, DJ, Alida, Jake, me, Delia, Peggy, Ray, Jason, Brittany and Robin. Missing from this picture and at the wedding were Ryan and his wife Cherie. They're DJ and Delia's parents.
This is us! Jake, me, Peggy, dad and Jason.

Here is my dad's new family. Jeffrey, Dawn, Carey and her daughter Hayley, Jessica, Peggy, Dad, Jason, me and Jake. Now, the best part about this, is that I still don't know if I was a bridesmaid or not. Now, I had my own bouquet, but I didn't walk in like the other girls did, and I was wearing a different dress. Jeffrey, however, is wearing the same outfit as my brothers. I don't really get it.
Overall, the wedding weekend was good. It was really nice to meet Peggy. She really is a nice person. I also really liked her daughters. Carey is a massage therapist, and she has that adorable litttle girl, Hayley. Hayley was definitely my special friend out of the family. We even took walks together. Dawn is a weapons specialist in the Air Force. She was on the cover of Newsweek as the most dangerous woman in Iraq. You wouldn't have guessed it, though. And Jessica seems really smart, funny and laid back. She just graduated from college and is trying to get a job teaching. Jeffrey is younger than I am, yet was drinking the whole weekend. He's in the Navy. We didn't talk at all the entire time. I think we said 'hi' when I first met him, but that was all. Jessica's boyfriend is an idiot. I wanted to shoot him. Talk about white trash. She could do better.
What else happened? Even though my dad told me not to bring a swimsuit, I went to the beach with my brothers, Robin, DJ, Delia, Alida and Brittany. We went looking for seashells, and I found a couple of sand dollars, including a live one. DJ found a live sea horse. I also got stung by a jellyfish. Later that night, Jake gave me a massage that was actually really nice, even if he did tell me that I had a hunchback and left my shoulders slightly bruised. Jason drank a lot the whole weekend- mostly beer and soda. The barbeque was fun, except for Jacob being determined to show everyone my Humor U audition tape. And I went to a tavern with the Martin's and my dad, but I only had water, of course. I also got ice cream with my dad. It was tasty. And that... is probably about all that really happened.

That is really funny that your dress was differently. I'm glad you posted pics. I want to meet "the most dangerous women in Iraq" that's tight!
