David's a Missionary!

Look at that good looking face. David Meppen. It has been a pleasure. David went into the MTC on Wednesday. He's serving in Vegas for the next two years. Imma miss that boy.

To celebrate and say goodbye, David invited me, Hilary and his future wife Chelsey out to lunch with him. But before we could leave the Cannon Center for lunch, Callie and I decided to make him a little welcome something.

P.S. That's supposed to be a heart. David loved it, of course!

We ate at David's favorite lunch place in Provo: Kneader's. It was a lovely rainy day, and a lovely lunch.

I'm going to miss David. He's been such a great little brother substitute. But I know he's going to love his mission, and not only convert others to the gospel, but convert himself, as well.
