"Love is Weird."

I have a crush on someone.

And it's a problem.

I haven't stopped thinking about him for days.

And he's completely fictional.

I'm maybe a little obsessed with Peeta from the Hunger Games.

When I read the books a few years ago I remember this same thing happening.  I didn't want to stop reading because I LOVED HIM.  The first movie didn't do this to me.  But the second one, Catching Fire, oh mah gosh.

I just, I want a boy who bakes me bread and wants to know what I'm thinking.  I want him to be gentle and loving and caring.  I want him to be funny and say the perfect thing at just the right moment.  I want him to understand how I feel.  I want him to run to my bed in the middle of the night because he heard me screaming from a nightmare and then I want him to hold me as I fall asleep as he whispers that he'll always be there for me.

Like Haymitch says, Katniss doesn't deserve him.  I don't think I do, either, though.  He's such a nice ideal.  But this beautiful ideal isn't going to keep me warm at night.  However, my fuzzy blanket will as I reread the series and hold a place in my heart for Peeta.
