Unexpected Fun Nights

Some days all I expect when I get done with classes is to go home, sit on the couch, attempt to do my homework and eat some dinner. Last night was no different, except Blake ended up coming over for dinner with me and Marie. What had the looks of being a normal, boring evening turned into one of the strangest and most fun evenings I have ever had.

We ate cashew chicken for dinner and Blake had brought strawberries and grapes for dessert. So we threw the grapes in the freezer and melted some chocolate chips for the strawberries. We ran out of strawberries before chocolate so next thing we know we're dipping pretzels and bananas. And when those ran out we attacked some Ritz crackers.

Then we sat on the couch doing just about nothing when Blake decided to get his frozen grapes. And then we started tossing them into each others' mouths. I'm not very good at it. Around this time Megan came down bringing us some movie popcorn and Blake started tossing grapes at her. For some reason they would bounce right back out and she had to try a LOT before she got one. Then Blake insisted that Marie chuck a grape at his face, not just toss. And he caught it in his mouth. He had her do it again and it hit his face so hard that I could hear it.

We decided to watch this Youtube video of Man vs. Wild when he eats this huge larva and its guts shoot out of his mouth. We likened it to a huge exploding zit, which is when we decided to watch videos of ginormous zits/boils/cysts being popped. It was disgusting. I thought that I was going to vomit. The best part was when Marie exclaimed "if my husband ever asked me... no!". Megan said she could hear our screaming from upstairs, in her bathroom with the water running.

Then we decided that we needed to go to Helaman to get these coupons for free chicken nuggets at Burger King. But the ad packets with the coupons had been thrown away earlier in the day. So Blake and I went to the huge recycle bins and searched for them. We ended up with 17. Then we went to Burger King with them and the man at the register was in a very foul mood indeed, slamming cupboards and trying to talk people out of ordering what they were ordering. But we got our chicken nuggets and then I drove us home in Blake's car. And I almost drove us into one of those drainage ditches south of campus.

P.S. Did I mention that I got my license on Monday? At 22, I'm finally completely legal to drive!!!
