I Absolutely Love...

When the day before school starts you're enjoying a relaxing evening with your friends in the living room when you step into the kitchen to realize that your entire kitchen floor is covered in about an inch of water. Yes folks, my kitchen flooded last night. From the water heater. The girls below us apparently had water coming out of their vents and smoke detectors. Thus, we had to turn the hot water off until a plumber could come. Which is why my "shower" today was interesting. We're talking more of a sponge bath. I was willing to take a cold shower, but my shower didn't agree as it apparently needs hot water to run at all. So I washed my hair in the sink. Which wasn't really working out, so instead of a wash it was more of a dampening. And now I'm off to my first day of school. Luckily it's only work and then one class before I'm home. Thank Heavens.
