When I Hear

When I hear an adult (someone over the age of 18) say either "mommy" or "daddy," I want to throw up in my mouth.  How old are you?

The worst offender was probably this girl in testimony meeting, who was telling a story about her "mommy" and justified it to us by saying that when Jesus was performing the Atonement he called Heavenly Father "daddy" in Hebrew.

Doesn't make it okay.

He also made a ruckus in the temple but if you did that now you'd be in big trouble, lady.

Don't be so quick to judge. In the South, that is very common. Forrest and all his siblings call their parents mommy and daddy because that's what their parents did, ans their friends. I would think that being as open minded as you are, you'd be less judgmental. I used to feel the same way until I met Forrest and realized it can be a cultural thing. :) but I guess you can detest Forrest now if you want. Since he does such a horrendous thing ;)
